Nastasia

Nastasia is a talented bassist known for her soulful and engaging grooves.

After playing classical piano since the age of 12 and studying musicology, she discovered her love for the bass in 2023 — quickly developing her own groove-driven style, originally sparked by her obsession with the bassline of Stevie Wonder’s Master Blaster.

Her musical style blends elements of funk, soul, hip hop, and jazz, reflecting her diverse influences and growing technical proficiency.

She has gained recognition through her social media performances, where she shares her interpretations of iconic basslines - including those by legendary bassists from bands like Jamiroquai and Vulfpeck. These performances highlight her as a passionate and skilled musician, deeply dedicated to her craft and musical journey.

Her go-to instrument is a Sadowsky P/J Bass, which immediately felt like home. While her presence in the bass scene continues to grow, Nastasia is an active member of the Bass Players United community and grows through live and collaborative projects with diverse musicians.
