Daniel Gazmuri

Daniel Gazmuri is a Chilean bassist, composer, and educator with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has performed and collaborated with renowned international musicians such as Oscar Stagnaro, Louise Denson, Bruce Woodward, and Golosa la Orquesta, appearing at major venues and events in Chile, Australia, and the United States, including the NAMM Show, Jazz Music Institute, and the Festival de Jazz del Bosque.

In 2017, he received the Margot Loyola Award for Traditional Music (SCD) as a member of Paloma Negra, and in 2023 he was honored by the Prestige Awards (UK) as South America's Music Tutor of the Year. As a composer, he has released the albums Camino (2020) and Raíces (2024), and is the author of four instructional books for bassists and double bass players.

He currently maintains an active international teaching career through private lessons, educational courses, publications, and Bassflix, his online bass education membership community.
