The Sadowsky MasterBuilt 21-Fret Vintage M/J bass offer the looks of a vintage M/J bass, but with that famous modern Sadowsky tone. This 5-string left-hand bass, seen here in a Solid Firemist Gold Metallic Satin finish, features a sleek, undersized, chambered J-Style body that is made of American Swamp Ash. The neck is made of Roasted American Maple and features a Roasted American Maple fingerboard. One special feature is the slightly narrower 1.75" / 44.5 mm nut width compared to other Sadowsky 5-String basses. String spacing at the bridge is 0.71" / 18 mm and the distance between all of the strings is 2.83" / 72 mm. Additional features of this bass include a hum-cancelling Sadowsky J-Style neck pickup and a Sadowsky Quad-Coil Humbucker with Alnico V magnets. The active electronics have true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost, and two 3-way toggles switch for pickup configuration (series / parallel / single coil). This bass also features light open gear Sadowsky tuners and the Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. Sadowsky MasterBuilt 21-Fret Vintage M/J basses are made exclusively in Germany. The weight of this bass is never more than 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg). A good choice for players who want a lightweight bass that offers a modern bass sound.

The chambered Swamp Ash body is known for is bright, clear tone. We select the best American Swamp Ash for its unique resonant tonal qualities and striking grain patterns. Giving you a Sadowsky bass that both looks and sounds beautiful. For players who prefer a lighter bass.

A roasted maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
