The Sadowsky MasterBuilt 24-Fret Modern Bass is perfect for any player looking for a modern bass with that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. This 4-string fretless left-hand bass has a chambered American Swamp Ash body with a Solid Firemist Gold Metallic Satin finish. The body shape is sleek and undersized with deeper cutaways for better playability and a full two octave note range. The neck is made from Roasted American Maple with a 1.5" / 38.5 mm wide nut and has a Tigerstripe Ebony fretboard. This bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups, both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge. String spacing at the bridge is 0.79" / 20 mm and the string distance between all of the strings is 2.36" / 60 mm. Each Sadowsky MasterBuilt 24-Fret Modern Bass is made exclusively in our workshop in Germany and weighs no more than 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg). A good choice for bass players who are seaching for a light, modern looking bass with that special modern Sadowsky sound.

Body
The chambered Swamp Ash body is known for is bright, clear tone. We select the best American Swamp Ash for its unique resonant tonal qualities and striking grain patterns. Giving you a Sadowsky bass that both looks and sounds beautiful. For players who prefer a lighter bass.
Neck
A roasted maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
Fingerboard
The Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboards on our MasterBuilt basses offer a brightness that is in-between Maple and Morado, but with more immediate attack and fundamental tones that are both strong and focused.
