The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut 5-string bass features a sleek, undersized single-cut style body made of chambered American Swamp Ash with a '59 Burst Transparent High Polish finish. The neck is made of American Maple and features an American Maple fingerboard. Special features on this bass include Sadowsky Soapbar pickups as well as Roger's famous electronics featuring a preamp with switchable mid-boost and trim pot (choice of 500 Hz or 800 Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth), Vintage Tone Control and preamp bypass. Controls include Volume, Balance, VTC (P/P), Treble and Bass. The hardware includes a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge and light open gear Sadowsky tuners. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut bass never weighs more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg). It’s a great choice for players who want a lightweight single-cut bass with that famous Sadowsky tone: strong, powerful bass that is never muddy. Mids that are present but not too aggressive and a sweet and airy treble range.
