This Sadowsky pre-wired onboard bass preamp is suitable for Sadowsky MetroLine and MasterBuilt Vintage Will Lee Artist Line and Vintage Single Cut basses. It features active 2-way electronics (boost only) with RFIP (Radio Frequency Interference Protection) for passive pickups. The 4-knob layout has controls for master volume, balance, Vintage Tone Control (VTC), treble and bass (stacked) with a push/pull function for preamp bypass on the VTC knob and a mini switch for mid-boost activation. The circuit board offers 4 mids adjustments: 500Hz Narrow, 500Hz Wide, 800Hz Narrow and 800Hz Wide, plus midrange boost volume adjustment via 2 trimpots located on the circuit board. The frequency range is 5 Hz to 50 kHz. The bass knob offers +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and the treble knob offers +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% at 1 kHz. Powered by a 9 V battery that consumes 9 mA, the battery can last up to 870 hours. Input impedance is 1 mOhm, output impedance is 1 kOhm.
