Eric Elias

Eric Elias was born in Sabadell (Barcelona) and has been immersed in music for as long as he can remember. From childhood curiosity to professional passion, he explored every instrument he could find—bass, drums, piano, guitar, violin, and double bass—until the electric bass became his true voice.

The church played a pivotal role in his musical journey, offering him the chance to perform in a real setting week after week. This shaped his ear, sharpened his instincts, and gave him the rich gospel roots that have become the signature of his sound.

Since 2021, Eric has been studying Electric Bass Performance at ESMUC, diving deep into jazz and carving a place for himself in Barcelona’s vibrant music scene. You can often find him on stage at iconic venues like Jamboree and the Nova Jazz Cava in Terrassa, performing alongside artists and projects such as Ned Lud, Carmen y Maria, Eric Abril, Faith Collective, Orella d’Ós, and numerous gospel choirs.

Beyond collaborations, Eric leads his own jazz fusion trio and is currently crafting his debut album of original gospel music—an intimate blend of groove, faith, and creative exploration.
