Marius Goldhammer

MARIUS GOLDHAMMER has been a professional bassist since 1988 and is one of the most sought-after bassists in Germany.

He works in numerous international bands of various genres.

Among others he accompanied (live/studio): Chaka Khan, Joy Denalane, Pe Werner, Clueso, Pohlmann, Chris Isaak, Heavytones, Max Mutzke, Gentleman, Nils Landgren, Harvey Mason,

Rea Garvey, Laith Al-Deen, Flo Mega, Santiano, Pieces of a dream, Tom Browne, Milow, Joo Kraus, Eric Marienthal, Edo Zanki, Rüdiger Baldauf, BAP and many more.

Tours have taken him to over 90 countries.

Until 2022 he played on more than 300 CD productions / advertising jingles / soundtracks. Among others on the number 1 double album “Live und deutlich” by BAP.

Marius is a lecturer for electric bass jazz/pop at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. He gives masterclasses at universities in Maastricht, Enschede, Arnhem/NL and was a lecturer at the “Warwick Bass Camp 2016” alongside Felix Pastorius, Dennis Chambers, Alfonso Johnson and others.

He also works as a musical director and composes/produces for various projects.

Marius has released three solo albums so far, “goldhammer”, “XYZ” and “Songs of love and bassguitars, Vol.1”.
