Sadowsky MetroLine basses are manufactured true to the philosophy that the most important factor affecting the sound of a solid-body instrument is the acoustic quality of the wood. Available in a wide range of different finishes, the bodies are made of hand-selected American Swamp Ash, American Red Alder or Okoume. Each bass is equipped with Sadowsky hardware, the famous Sadowsky active electronics and Sadowsky pickups. All MetroLine models are manufactured in our carbon-neutral workshop in Germany.

The Sadowsky preamp pedals are based on the active onboard bass electronics that Roger Sadowsky developed himself decades ago. Since then, the legendary circuit has set the tone in all of his basses - highly versatile yet easy to control, powerful and well-balanced in all frequency ranges. The preamp effects pedals bring that sound into a convenient stompbox format for any bass without the Sadowsky electronics.
