Roger Sadowsky has always improved bass design by making some very unique and important enhancements. Thanks to his proprietary special electronics, light-weight tuners and selected tone wood, Roger offers you the Sadowsky MetroExpress 24-Fret Vintage J/J 6-String Bass, an instrument at home both on stage and at home. Features include a light-weight solid Okoume body fitted with J/J pickups, finished in Solid Silver Metallic High Polish with a black pearloid pickguard, a roasted maple neck and a morado fingerboard. Together this makes one formidable bass that you are going to love to play! Best of all, the accessible price gives you access to that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet, airy treble.
Construction
Body
Okoume gives you a bass that is not only light in weight but also very resonant, with a full, warm and round tone. We hand select each piece of Okoume to ensure a beautiful, even grain pattern and excellent tonal qualities. For players who prefer a lightweight bass.
Neck
A neck made from roasted maple that features a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment.
Fingerboard
Our Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard gives the Sadowsky MetroExpress bass a sweet, warm and mellow sound with good tonal definition.

A Sadowsky MetroExpress Quick String Release Bridge for quick and easy string changes. Features a chrome finish and 18 mm string spacing.

The Sadowsky Just-A-Nut III offers you an adjustable nut for a more perfect bass setup. Made of durable white Tedur.
